Dipsacus Pilosa // Teasel
A firm favourite with Jess- teasel’s height gives a wildflower patch or border some lovely structure. When its spiky purple flowers die, the beauty continues- the dead seed head on its tall stem over winter is a stunning sight. Birds such as goldfinches feast on the plentiful seed contained within, at a time when not much food is available.
This is a biennial plant- it will grow its foliage for the first growing season and then the flower for the second.
Harriet's Tip: Grow at the back of a wild border to give that structural interest and plant out as soon as you receive your teasel so their roots can develop well. Save the seed heads and dot them around your garden where you want future teasel.

- Soil // quite a robust plant- it can handle a range of soils including moist and heavy
- Position // full sun or part shade (won’t survive full shade)

Fun prints and the bags are a really great size. Bigger than I was expecting which is a bonus and the straps are a perfect length to put on your shoulder if you want. I just hope I don't lose the little bag it folds into!
I hate proper bleach and it is so bad for us when we use it in the home. Here is a non-harming alternative. It doesn't harm us, nor the planet :)
This is my second pot. It removes makeup well with a cloth. Smells lovely. Feels good to use a sustainable product which also works well.
Excellent cream, effective and non sticky
We love our air fryer and use it lots, but keeping it clean is an absolute pain. I’ve looked at silicone liners etc but saw these when ordering some of my usual cleaning products from Plastic Freedom. They are great and I’ll definitely buy more! They fill the whole of a drawer in our AF. And most importantly they are biodegradable and kind to the earth!
