Centaurea Nigra // Black Knapweed
Super adaptable to most gardens, black knapweed is one of the most attractive wildflowers to our native fauna. A plethora of insects and birds favour the purple flower’s nectar and then seed. A must have herbaceous perennial if you are wanting to encourage wildlife into your space. Looks lovely swaying in a meadow with tall grasses!
Harriet's Tip: Plant in an area of the garden that is neglected/ not used so much by people and pets- this plant will grow to about 60cm tall and self seeds easily so it will cover an unloved patch of ground in no time!
- Size // 20cm
- Pot size // 10cm Coir
- Grown in Cornwall, UK using peat-free compost and chemical-free, biological plant care.
- Soil // well drained, fairly fertile soil (but can be handle most soil types)
- Position // full sun or partial shade
Harriet's Guide
- Foliage // hairy, deeply divided, and have a feathery appearance, with the stem and leaves covered in a fine layer of white hairs, giving the plant a silvery appearance
- Flowers // thistle-like, purple or pink flower heads, but without the prickliness of true thistles

Fun prints and the bags are a really great size. Bigger than I was expecting which is a bonus and the straps are a perfect length to put on your shoulder if you want. I just hope I don't lose the little bag it folds into!
I hate proper bleach and it is so bad for us when we use it in the home. Here is a non-harming alternative. It doesn't harm us, nor the planet :)
This is my second pot. It removes makeup well with a cloth. Smells lovely. Feels good to use a sustainable product which also works well.
Excellent cream, effective and non sticky
We love our air fryer and use it lots, but keeping it clean is an absolute pain. I’ve looked at silicone liners etc but saw these when ordering some of my usual cleaning products from Plastic Freedom. They are great and I’ll definitely buy more! They fill the whole of a drawer in our AF. And most importantly they are biodegradable and kind to the earth!
