Mentha Spicata // Spearmint
A gorgeous garden mint that never fails to impress. Great in teas, used in food dishes and great for pollinators when in flower. Sensory plants really are a real favourite in the nursery and it’s an added bonus that this plant is known to aid digestion.
Harriet's Tip: Grow in a container as this plant can spread - lift and divide each year in Spring to avoid the plant becoming pot-bound. Place close to paths or entrances so the aromatic foliage can be easily picked for use in mint sauce, salads and your fave summer drinks. Boil the kettle and steep in a tea pot for a wonderfully fresh mint tea.
