If you've been on this journey with me for a while, you will know that I have sworn by menstrual cups for as long as I can remember, something my mum passed down to me! I've helped so many friends make the change to a cup and loved their reactions to just how amazing they are!
When Harriet and Hannah from Sea + Flo reached out (fellow friends from Newquay) who were on a mission to help others make the swap too, I knew good things we're going to happen! The Sea + Flo cup is a next level up from what I've been used to; the packaging is beautiful and with the colour of the cup being black, this was by FAR the best I've used, adn the cute storage bag means I will no longer lose my cup each month!
WHY THE SWITCH?
- The 'average person' will have around 500 periods in their lifetime. Which means there are approximately 17,000 tampons or pads, per person going to landfills, incinerators...or the sea.

I love the baby size, it was the first one I bought and the size that I use most. It folds up super slim and is durable. I always keep it in my bag for when I might want to pop to the shop, whether I'm going to work or on a walk.

I was so happy to see Plastic Freedom selling these bags, I struggled to find the one I wanted in the colour I wanted, even from the official sellers but after a google search, I was surprised to see it on here and slightly cheaper. saw a lot of negative reviews about the meringue bag but i was pleasantly surprised about the bag! the straps are thick and padded which work well for me as they do not dig into my shoulder/chest. it does indeed look weird when carried as a shoulder bag but it is a perfect crossbody length (i'm 5'1), and it also fits slightly more than a medium crescent! the delivery by plastic freedom is as always speedy and pleasant, thank you!
I had accumulated a few containers from upcircle and decided to order multiple refills which were sent on the same pouch (up to 400 mL). This was very efficient as used less plastic and I also think there is less loss of product in the pouch - plus I did open the pouch and used every bit of product left in it! ;)

Very useful bag. Holds a lot. The moonstone fabric makes the bag look different, and not just like a shopping bag.

I’ve used bamboo toothbrushes before but this one is great!
The head is smaller than a plastic toothbrush so it is actually much easier to reach your back teeth - hoping my dentist will notice!!
It feels lovely to hold and I love the choice of colours on the base.
