The Movewell Cork Peanut is an ultra-light and compressive fine grain natural self-massage tool made from FSC certified Portuguese Cork. The Peanut can be used to roll throughout the body, but is particularly effective for releasing the neck and thoracic paraspinal muscles. It can be used as part of a strategy to improve neck and thoracic mobility and for relieving myogenic headaches and neck pain.
Self massage tools give you a self-administered, effective way to desensitise tissue, promoting movement and modulating pain. Self Massage can be useful as part of a warm up and also enhance post-exercise recovery by promoting blood flow, aiding lymphatic drainage and reducing delayed onset muscle soreness.
