Nkuku Mango Wood & Recycled Glass Cake/Cheese Dome

This impressive glass cake dome with stand is made from eco-friendly materials including a recycled glass and sustainable mango wood and it's what I use to store cheese in the fridge! It keeps it cool, without drying out and means you can always see what you have left to reduce food waste!
Nkuku use recycled glass to make these collections. Firstly, the waste glass is collected and washed to remove any impurities; it is then crushed and melted down before being hand blown or placed in moulds to create beautiful new products.

To care for the glass dome, we recommend a gentle hand wash only. Use a mild dish soap to clean, rinse in clean water. To care for your Mango Wood board, wash in warm soapy water after every use to prevent staining, rinse and dry immediately, do not soak. Due to the nature of the wood, the colours may change over time. To nourish and protect the natural wood rub an edible oil such as olive oil or walnut oil into the surface with a dry cloth. Please note that adding oil may darken the tone of the wood.

I really like this pack of offcuts. The standard is the same but you get smaller pieces. I just stuck pieces together to make an ordinary sized bar. I also like the potluck aspect which suits me because I like all the scents
