New Year Plastic Free You

Are you joining the Veganuary movement this January? Well if you are, hopefully, this blog post will help you save some money. We have found that one of the most common misconceptions about going plastic free or vegan is that it has to cost you a small fortune. We have put together some simple steps and hints and tips on how you can make small changes this January and save money in the process. So, let's get to it.

Going Vegan doesn't need to break the bank

1. Buy to last this Veganuary

When we say buy to last what we mean is to avoid buying something you will throw away. Avoid single-use and disposable. Take time choosing the item you want to buy, buy what you can afford and do your research. The most expensive isn't always the best. Making conscious choices about what you buy will help you make the best decision.

Finding an item you can reuse through refilling is always great. We offer great refill options for so many products. Whether that's cleaning, self-care or candles we have an awesome selection of items available in-store and online that you can refill.

Buy once, buy well and buy to refill. Shop our refill items here.

2. Prep Ahead this Veganuary

We all know what prepping your own lunch, coffee or juice will save you money in the long run, but did you know that switching out the cling film/foil for a lunchbox will also save you money? Well, it will!

Not only will you save some money, but you will also help make positive changes to your impact on the planet.

We have the most awesome selection of lunchboxes, coffee cups, water bottles and snack pots available online. Items perfect for whatever your needs.

Switching these out instead of the disposable options will save you money and will also minimise your waste on a daily basis. It's a win-win situation really and we hope you all enjoy this switch-up!

3. Refill in store this Veganuary

Did you know we've opened a London store? Well, we have and it's packed full of excellent refill stations featuring some of our best-selling products, with more items set to be added very soon.

If you're in the London area then let us help you save money by switching to products that can be refilled.

Did you know that most of the money you're actually paying for say you're washing liquid, is actually for the packaging, not the actual product inside? Packaging that is going to be disposed of. However, switching to a product that can be refiled, is much better for the environment. Think of it as a one-time fee for the bottle and you keep it for as long as you need it, refilling it every time you run out.

The savings can be made as excellent, from anything between 15-50%.

If you're not in the London area, fear not, we also have refill options online. Stick with us to find out more.

We also offer some great products as bulk buy, meaning your money will go further if we can save you money while trying to help save the planet in some capacity then we are happy.

Buying eco, ethical and vegan does not need to break the bank and refill is the way to go when you're looking to save money and switch to vegan products.

5. Less is more

Buying less, using less, spending less. We love the minimal way of life and when it comes to plastic free, less is best.

This veganuary why not also try and minimise your life. Starting with your cleaning products. Do you really need every cleaning item under the sun, or can you switch them out for 1 or 2 products that do it all so to speak?

Say goodbye to mountains of plastic, nasty chemicals that harm the planet and products that don't contain animal products.

As with all our hints and tips the message is always being conscious. Conscious about how you spend your money, how you shop, what you buy and how you use your products.
