So we reimagined the everyday pen from the ground up – into something joyful, refillable, modular and genuinely exciting to use. A pen designed not just for neat final answers, but for the messy middle bits: the sketches, the notes, the highlights, the sparks. A highlighter reimagined. The Ori Highlighter pairs a smooth Japanese-made chisel tip with refillable, fluoro-bright ink to create a tool that’s designed to last a lifetime.

WHY TOM CREATED IT?
"Too many pens and their refills are disposable by design. Similar to printer ink cartridges, pen companies want you to buy into their format so they can keep selling you replacement pens or refills repeatedly. It's good for their business, but it's bad for the planet and stifles creativity.
As a product designer and craftsman who loves using a variety of pens to create illustrations and designs, I had this very problem! Pens would sit in my drawer for years, either patiently waiting for that very specific refill, or I was just loath to dispose of an otherwise fully functional pen that had run out of ink.
Having designed and handmade calligraphy and fountain pens for creative folks across the world full-time for over 6 years, I decided it was time to apply my knowledge to the pen I used most of all and one of the biggest culprits when it came to its disposable nature: the fineliner."
FAQ
What ink can I use?
The Ori is compatible with all of our Fluoro highlighter inks, standard Fountain Pen Inks and Fibre Tip Inks. Please note the Ori is not suitable for use with our Shimmer Fountain Pen Inks or Calligraphy Inks.
How do I store the reservoir and tips?
If a reservoir or tip is inked, it must never be left to dry out. Always store inked parts in an airtight container. If ink dries inside, the reservoir or tip will clog and can’t be used again.
If you want to clean a reservoir, rinse thoroughly to remove all ink, then allow it to dry completely before re-inking.
