Description

Seedball create the most amazing way to bring wildflowers back to your space that the bees will love! Plastic free, peat free and made in the UK!

  • Each ball contains between 10 and 100 seeds per ball depending on the variety, and all seeds are sourced in the UK and can be found on the RHS 'Plants for Pollinators' List.
  • The seed balls are made by hand from Seedball's HQ in North London - from a mixture of UK native wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder.
  • The clay protects the seeds from wildlife, and once water has permeated the clay, the seeds inside will germinate, helped along by nutrients and minerals contained within the ball.
  • These make for lovely gardening gifts, bee gifts or eco friendly stocking fillers, and will work well in window boxes, balcony pots, garden beds and wildlife gardens.

THE FLOWERS

  • Cornflower - Brilliantly blue British cornflowers. These iconic and distinctive flowers are fantastic for bees, beetles, butterflies and moths, and are a simply marvellous addition to any wildlife garden. They are also edible with a cucumber-like taste, and can be used in salads, as a garnish or infused as a tea!
  • Red Campion - Each seedball is packed with wildlife-friendly wildflower seeds. These make for lovely gardening gifts, bee gifts or eco friendly stocking fillers, and will work well in window boxes, balcony pots, garden beds and wildlife gardens.
  • Poppy - A tube bursting with common poppy seeds. A bright red flowering annual – this hugely popular native wildflower is fantastic for pollinators and garden birds and a stunning addition to any wildflower garden. Poppies are also a big favourite of ours for window boxes or for other small growing spaces.
  • Oxeye Daisy - Simply Oxeye Daisy seeds, so beautiful! These are one of the quickest growing wildflowers, whose open flower heads attract bees, butterflies and hoverflies. Also one of the the most resilient wildflowers, these are often seen on road verges and in spots with more limited sunshine.
  • Forget-me-not - These delicate blue flowers grow really easily in garden beds and plant pots and are also great for popping into grooves and cracks along the edge of paving stones. They’re a short annual (will flower in the first year) with mostly blue and sometimes pink flowers. They’ll grow up to about 40cm and can be seen in flower from April to October.

HOW TO USE

  • Simply scatter on top of soil in a garden bed or pot, water well, and nature will do the rest. No need to be a gardening expert.
