TENCEL™ Lyocell
Well known for its natural comfort and environmentally responsible closed loop production process.
Derived from responsibly sourced, renewable FSC wood pulp, TENCEL™ Lyocell is a premium natural material that utilises significantly less water than cotton, as well as limited CO2 emissions.
Even better, it’s biodegradable and compostable under industrial, home, soil and marine conditions so it can fully revert back to nature.
Naturally breathable, it offers the silkiest touch, has numerous hygienic benefits including being unfavourable for bacterial growth, all whilst maintaining the perfect level of support you need for underwear.
TINTEX
Portugal based TINTEX is a leader in performance driven, high tech fabrics and a global leader in sustainable fabric solutions. Which is why it was the perfect partner for our sportier styles.
Our TINTEX fabric is made from 90% Recycled Polyester 10% Elastane using recycled consumer waste. Light weight, sumptuously soft and a high performance and technical fabric that moves with the body so it feels like second skin.
Using the latest equipments and processes, TINTEX specialise in dyeing and finishing techniques making the fabric a truly sustainable and circular substitute.

Mailer Bags
Our Mailer Bags are made from a strong, sustainable substrate containing Calcium Carbonate (approx. 80%) sourced from waste products and approximately 20% of non-toxic resin. They are proudly Halogen free and produced in a carbon neutral, zero waste, solar generated factory in China.
All inks used on our bags are soy or water based inks, eco-friendly and non-toxic.
Whilst the bags themselves are waterproof, tear resistant, durable, tough and antibacterial, they are also photodegradable and will begin to break down in direct sunlight after 12-18 months. So if they don’t make it into the recycling stream and end up in nature, they revert back to calcium carbonate when left out in sunshine and natural conditions.
Cotton Bags
There is one part of our packaging made to last, and that’s our RENUE cotton bag. A gift from us to you to keep your NUE favourite underwear safe from harm.
They are ethically made in a SEDEX & SA8000 accredited factory in India and the entire process from material, dying and printing is GOTS approved, using pigment water based inks.
Our RENUE branded labels sewn onto the bags are made from recycled polyester.

Whilst our design inspiration came from comfy boyfriend shapes and everyday basics, our mood boards filled up with effortlessly chic French lifestyle imagery, and we realised we could combine ultimate comfort with effortless design to create the perfect underwear for all women.
