Unfortunately not all products are transparent about the use of palm oil or its derivates in their products with 100s of different names given to palm oil ingredients... needless to say this left us even more frustrated at the situation. Plastic waste was also another hurdle, with most mainstream brands wrapped in layers of plastic that is not always recyclable. So after many failed shopping attempts and mounting frustrations towards brands we decided to take matters into our hands by creating LOR. There we were, one PR professional and one consultant, on a mission to build a brand that ticks all the boxes and has as little an impact on the world as possible. 2018 was an exhausting (and fulfilling) year. We discovered a community of likeminded businesses along the way that allowed us to build LOR based on this promise - to be kind to the environment, kind to animals and kind to you.We have applied this thinking across every aspect of our day-to-day operations from the lovely people we work with based in the UK, to the recyclable boxes, to our natural products and screen-printing our bottles to reduce waste from the labels. We have thought long and hard on how we can avoid contributing further to the world's waste issue and will continue to innovate, improve and change the way we work to ensure that we are able to stay true to ourselves and our customers.
